1. Our approach
We want Guardiso to be not only secure but also environmentally responsible. We do not make empty promises — we describe concrete choices that genuinely reduce our footprint: European, energy-efficient infrastructure and a lightweight product free of unnecessary tracking.
2. Energy-efficient infrastructure in Europe
The entire platform runs on the infrastructure of a European cloud provider, in data centres within the European Union (including Poland). Our provider is one of the more energy-efficient data centre operators in Europe and publishes its environmental metrics:
- 100% renewable energy (wind or hydro) with guarantees of origin across all European data centres.
- An average power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.37 in 2024 — below the industry average.
- Cooling based on free cooling and adiabatic cooling, and in Warsaw also immersion cooling — without wasting drinking water.
- Circular-economy programmes: reconditioning of servers and drives that extends their lifespan.
The figures above come from our infrastructure provider's own publications and refer to its data centres. The provider publishes current data on its environmental page.

3. A lightweight product, less data transfer
Less code and data sent to the browser means less energy needed to render a page. That is why our landing page and platform are deliberately lightweight:
- No third-party tracking, advertising or analytics scripts on the public site — no Google Analytics, advertising pixels or tracking networks.
- Self-hosted typeface — the browser does not download fonts from external servers.
- We set only cookies strictly necessary for the service to work, without superfluous network requests.
4. Honest about what we do not have yet
Guardiso is a young company. We do not hold our own environmental certifications (such as ISO 14001) and we do not yet publish our own carbon footprint report — and we do not pretend otherwise. The environmental metrics cited above relate to our infrastructure provider, not to Guardiso itself. As we grow, we will broaden our environmental commitments and report progress on this page.
